Please take a look at the great works that our staff Sarah Khiev has done for her client
in this success story video!

After two years of trying to make a living and raise his family, Hurricane Ike hit. It completely destroyed his home and one of his green houses. Before the storm, he was able to make a living by growing water spinach. Now that he only has one greenhouse, he is trying to grow more within one greenhouse but yet this is not enough. After 8 months, he got help from BPSOS for his housing and was helped by Pastor Tom Sharon of the First Presbyterian Church and other organizations including United Way and LSSDR. Today, his family lives in a completely rebuilt home with furniture and appliances included. The client is extremely happy about and appreciative of the opportunity to start a new chapter in his life. *** Reverend Tom Sharon's Remarks: Thank you Vi (BPSOS outreach staff who produced this video) for this testimony of hope. Let's join in love to
restore the dignity that comes with that hope to every family who faces
difficulties like this. And thank you to Sarah and BPSOS for your tireless
efforts in making that dream a reality!
Life's richest blessings to each of you,
Tom Sharon, Pastor
First Presbyterian Church
