What: Kids and Careers Conference

Why: To expose youth with in the community to the possible careers that they may pursue. Focus on positive, professional, and successful Vietnamese business persons.

Established in 1998 after a group of Vietnamese youth in Fairfax County was assaulted by local gang members, ERA is a program aimed at helping Vietnamese youth with the greatest need to improve the quality of their lives through education and employment. With funding from the Freddie Mac Foundation, Best Buy Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Education, the ERA program also exists in Aldephi, MD; Camden, NJ; Atlanta, GA; and New Orleans, LA.
