Established in 1980, Boat People SOS, Inc. (BPSOS) is a national non-profit organization with 14 branch offices in 14 states. Our mission is to provide relief, assistance, and support to Vietnamese refugees and immigrants in their search for a life in freedom and dignity, by empowering, equipping and organizing Vietnamese-American communities in their progress towards self-sufficiency.

We provide programs and services in the areas of community development, family services, health and mental health, survivor services, and emergency preparedness and response.

BPSOS is seeking PC Technician Intern to support our IT Systems Administrator. 

1. Install hardware and software; PC upgrades and repairs.
2. Research software and products.
3. Basic troubleshooting.

1. Completion of at least one year of college-level coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, etc. with lab.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Access and Outlook.
3. Solid knowledge of hardware.
4. Experience with ethernet configuration.
5. Ability to work with limited supervision. 

This internship is located at our Falls Church, VA office and requires a time commitment of at least 20 hours/week.
