Micro-enterprise InternshipHoping to gain experience with a micro-enterprise program or to strengthen your research skills? Boat People SOS, Inc. is seeking a micro-enterprise intern to support the Road to Independence through Savings and Education (RISE) program within the Community Development Department.
Established in 1980, Boat People SOS, Inc. (BPSOS) is a national non-profit organization with 14 branch offices in 14 states. Our mission is to provide relief, assistance, and support to Vietnamese refugees and immigrants in their search for a life in freedom and dignity, by empowering, equipping and organizing Vietnamese-American communities in their progress towards self-sufficiency.
Our micro-enterprise program is funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement and serves refugee women in Maryland. We help women with little to no income to become self-sufficient by participating in a childcare service program.
