Our programs and services are designed to nurture:

Healthy Families:  Families are the bedrock of our community, and we place high priority on strengthening yours through a range of programs, including:

1. The Louisville Immigration Service Center: The center provides translation and application assistance to low-income families and individuals with immigration and family reunification needs. The center also provides citizenship and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.
2. Health Awareness and Prevention (HAPP) Program: We believe that individuals and their families should be able to access decent, affordable healthcare. However, we know that it is not always easy for new immigrants, with limited English speaking skills and limited job opportunities, to access health information and services. To bridge that gap, our Health Awareness and Prevention (HAPP) Program has taken on the challenge of informing and empowering individuals to take health prevention into their own hands and for many, even become a health advocate among their peers in the community.
3. Neighborhood Empowerment and Support through Teamwork (NEST): We believe that it takes a village to raise a child, so we work to strengthen our community to support individuals and families alike. The Neighborhood Empowerment and Support through Teamwork (NEST) is a capacity-building initiative that organizes self-help groups for socially vulnerable populations, such as seniors, women, and Amerasians. These groups provide mutual assistance, establish new services to address unmet needs, provide mentoring opportunities for local community- and faith-based organizations, and mobilize media capabilities to disseminate critical information.
