Pha-le “Cassady” Le, currently BPSOS' Outreach Coordinator, will begin a new role with the organization effective Monday, March 22 as BPSOS' National PR Coordinator. 

Cassady joined BPSOS in May 2009 as Outreach Coordinator for the Hurricane Ike Disaster Case Management Program in Texas.  In that role she supported a case management team spreading across 5 offices throughout Southeast Texas.  She promoted the program, the Houston branch and BPSOS through community presentations, events and the media. She also served as a reporter, news anchor, and host for various Vietnamese language TV and radio shows.

Prior to joining BPSOS, Cassady was a reporter and anchor for SBTN in Washington, DC.  Her previous experience also includes serving as Deputy Director for the UNAVSA Collective Philanthropy Project and as a Community Liaison for the Vietnamese Overseas Initiative for Conscience Empowerment, spending 3 months in Cambodia.

Cassady is also an AmeriCorps alumna, having served as a Dan Than Fellow with the Maryland Vietnamese Mutual Association in Silver Spring, MD.  She holds a BS in Public Health from the University of Maryland.
