Southeast Asian Family Conference: Bridging Research with Practice

Philadelphia | August, 2011: BPSOS Delaware Valley will host the Southeast Asian Family Conference (SEAFAM) to provide a unique opportunity for practitioners and researchers from across the country to share information regarding the dynamics of the Southeast Asian Family. SEAFAM will provide an in-depth look into the many different barriers SEA families must overcome to remain a strong family unit.

In addition, BPSOS Delaware Valley will also be presenting finds from our 5 year Healthy Marriage Demonstration Program. 

WHAT:  Topics of discussion will include:

  • Access to Healthcare
  • Domestic Violence
  • Barriers to Education 
  • Cultural assimilation/integration into the United States
