The Vietnamese-American community in Atlanta is surprisingly large. It’s no wonder, then, that BPSOS has an office here and is deeply rooted in the community in many ways. Their 2010 Fall Health Fair was held at the end of October, and offered a wealth of information and services to those who stopped by. Everything from free flu shots to basic health screenings and information sessions was ongoing during the fair, and the large number of volunteers made a sizeable imprint on their community that day.

The humanitarian work that this organization does is inspiring, and having the opportunity to see their interaction and presence in the community was very moving.
