Our Coalition, consisting of organizations interested in combating trafficking in persons, offers the opportunity for one intern to work with an established anti-trafficking NGO in This is an un-paid position. Primary Responsibilities: · Research into and develop strategies for expansion of CAMSA-Malaysia to address the 2-way flow of trafficking victims between · Explore ways to get information about trafficking chains from interviewing victims and conducting research. · Develop and foster professional relationships with other NGOs and anti-trafficking organizations in · Build a network of service providers for client referral and for policy advocacy. · Write articles to publicize CAMSA’s work. · Engage donors and assist in fundraising efforts. · Involve high school and college students in · Assuming other assignments as designated by Supervisor. · Report to the International Initiatives Manager. Qualifications: · A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. · Prior experience studying and/or working abroad is a plus. · Commitment to service and resourcefulness. · Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds. · Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. · Sensitivity to issues of vulnerable populations. · Demonstrated ability to work in a team as well as individually.
