Trong tình huống dịch bệnh đang lây lan, hơn bao giờ hết người Việt ở trong và ngoài nước cần thông tin chính xác, cập nhật và thực tiễn. Điều cần tuyệt đối tránh là tình trạng nhiễu thông tin dẫn đến sự hoảng loan hoặc thái độ bất cẩn.
Chúng tôi sẽ chọn lọc thông tin cần thiết, đã được phối kiểm và được tóm tắt để truyền tải. Các thông tin này hướng đến người Việt ở Hoa Kỳ, đồng bào ở Việt Nam và các đồng bào đang lánh nạn ở Thái Lan.

Số Tiền Cho Vay Và Sử Dụng
Thiệt hại kinh tế đáng kể có nghĩa là doanh nghiệp không thể đáp ứng các dịch vụ của mình, và không thể trả các chi phí hoạt động thông thường và cần thiết. EIDL cung cấp vốn lưu động cần thiết để giúp các doanh nghiệp nhỏ tồn tại hoạt động bình thường cho đến khi thảm họa qua đi.
SBA có thể cung cấp tới 2 triệu đô la để giúp vốn tài chính và chi phí hoạt động mà có thể đã được đáp ứng nếu thảm họa không xảy ra. Economic Injury Disaster Loans
If you have suffered substantial economic injury and are one of the following types of businesses located in a declared disaster area, you may be eligible for an SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL):

Most private nonprofit organizations
Loan Amounts and Use
Substantial economic injury means the business is unable to meet its obligations and to pay its ordinary and necessary operating expenses. EIDLs provide the necessary working capital to help small businesses survive until normal operations resume after a disaster.
The SBA can provide up to $2 million to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses that could have been met had the disaster not occurred. Your loan amount will be based on your actual economic injury and your company's financial needs, regardless of whether the business suffered any property damage.
Eligibility and Terms
The interest rate on EIDLs will not exceed 4 percent per year. The term of these loans will not exceed 30 years. The repayment term will be determined by your ability to repay the loan.
EIDL assistance is available only to small businesses when SBA determines they are unable to obtain credit elsewhere.
A business may qualify for both an EIDL and a physical disaster loan. The maximum combined loan amount is $2 million.

You must submit the completed loan application and a signed and dated IRS Form 4506-T giving permission for the IRS to provide SBA your tax return information.

The Board of Director's Resolution Regarding COVID-19
Considering that the coronavirus epidemic has been declared a pandemic by World Health Organization and the US President has declared it a national emergency, and that BPSOS is among the few national organizations with experience in disaster response, relief and restore, the Board of Directors hereby resolves that BPSOS will:

Consider the response to the coronavirus pandemic the organization’s top priority;

Establish a national program to mobilize its resources and rally Vietnamese American communities to take part in the national response to the pandemic;

Develop partnerships with government agencies, businesses and other non-profits to roll out appropriate response, relief and restore initiatives;

Help refugees and asylum seekers in Thailand cope with the new situation; and
-
Mobilize civil society in Vietnam to quickly achieve readiness for coping with the pandemic.
